Message from the Principal

Welcome to Jarrahdale Primary School, situated in the beautiful and historical semi-rural town of Jarrahdale. We have approximately 80 students from Kindergarten to Year 6.  Being a small school allows us to offer many advantages not found in some of the larger primary schools.  We offer cross curriculum, whole school teaching and learning opportunities allowing children to socialise out of their year level and feel engaged within the school community.

The school holds a long tradition of working with the community and establishing personal and civic pride through education, community involvement and awareness of the local environment. Our school motto “Joy, Pride, Success” is embedded through all our plans and our focus is on developing the “whole child” through exposure to a range of experiences.

Jarrahdale Primary School became an Independent Public School in 2015, affording us more autonomy and ability to set our own strategic direction to cater for our students. While called independent, we still remain part of the public school system.

Kind Regards,

Kate Carthy (Principal)
