Library

Our library is a welcoming and engaging environment dedicated to literacy and learning. The library serves as a calm and comfortable setting for students to enjoy during both their library sessions and lunch breaks.

With an aim to nurture and encourage an ongoing love of reading within our school community, the library supports the teaching and learning of the school curriculum, embracing diversity and creativity. This is achieved through an extensive collection of junior and senior fiction and non-fiction books covering various genres, including picture books, graphic novels, popular series and educational resources. Additionally, the library hosts events and activities such as the annual book fair, National Simultaneous Storytime and visits from authors and illustrators.

The library’s displays are regularly updated to align with current affairs and special occasions like Anzac Day, Harmony Day, NAIDOC Week and more. A continuous introduction of new books allows for a broad range of choices, catering to diverse interests. We are fortunate to also receive generous donations from the local community, contributing to the library’s wealth of resources.
